LAS VEGAS • RANDOM TATTOO CONCEPT

After a couple of nights at the Wynn in Las Vegas we all decided to it at the Strip Burger. I had wanted to get a tattoo for a while now but I just never bothered to think about conceptualizing a design, or even seriously concider it. But there’s something about Vegas that brings that sort of thing out of you. We sat down and I came up a tally chart (below picture). I won’t say what it represents but the list will keep going.

Personalized Kix • Trend setting

The first pair (the Vans®) belong to a friend of mine by the name of Andrew Park. He came through one day wearing these kix and I thought they were perfectly worn in, so much that I had to photograph them for my record.

The second pair ($4 pair of no name brand canvas shoes) belongs to myself. I’ve had these for a little over 4yrs now and they’re still going strong. I think that shoes, particularly sneakers of any kind, are one of the few apparel items that can be worn as contemporary for as long as they remain 20% together. It’s something that requires a certain level of comitment, not just to the actual shoes, but also to one’s personal style.
